Supporting Documents Required:
- Meet the Proof of Residency Criteria
- Birth certificate
- Copies of any legal orders/ custody orders, if applicable
- Medical diagnosis documents, if applicable

Out of Catchment Applications
Pumicestone State School welcomes and considers all out-of-catchment applications.
To begin the process, families are required to complete an Expression of Interest via our website. Once submitted, our staff will contact you with the next steps.
Student exits
In preparation for your children departing Pumicestone State School, we kindly request your assistance in completing a Student Exit Form via our Website.
This form is used to notify the school of your children's intention not to return to Pumicestone State School.
Please be aware you may still receive absent text messages before your student becomes active at their new Queensland State School or confirmation of enrolment at a Private school has been received:
- If your child/ren are now home schooling please provide confirmation of registration.
- If your child/ren are now attending a Private School, please provide a letter of enrolment.
- If your child/ren are planning to attend a different QLD state school, their enrolment will automatically transfer on their first day.
Pumicestone State School cannot remove a student's enrolment without first having confirmation of enrolment at another education facility.
